   Newcastle Washington Earth Day celebrates what’s “green” for people and the environment. Kids activities, mini seminars, electric cars, green business and products, environmental organizations, recycling, music and more! Businesses, non-profits, the city of Newcastle, community leaders, and individuals share ideas and solutions to help make our lives healthier - socially, economically and environmentally. Join us Saturday April 21st at Lake Boren Park from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

   Seattle Tweet Drive benefit for Treehouse Organization

   For the admission price of an unwrapped toy, the Seattle community can join the kick-off party to the 2011 holiday season. Seattle Night Out hosts the second annual Seattle Tweet Drive on Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Hard Rock Cafe Seattle. All donated toys go to Treehouse for foster children. The first 100 attendees will receive fantastic gift bags, and great door prizes will be awarded throughout the night.
